On Halloween, members of the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad brought some extra holiday spirit to the Inova Loudoun Hospital pediatric unit. Trading in their EMS uniforms for costumes, our volunteers joined Inova pediatric nurses with their Minion outfits for a spooktacular reverse trick-or-treating visit.
Together, we handed out toys, shared smiles, and helped make the day a little brighter for the young patients spending Halloween in the hospital. The laughter and excitement filled the halls, proving that sometimes the best kind of medicine comes from kindness and connection.
