On 15 September 2020, Sterling Rescue Paramedic, Lieutenant Sam Neglia was presented the 2020 Award for Outstanding Achievement in EMS by the Executive Director of the Northern Virginia EMS Council, Craig Evans.

This award recognized Lt. Neglia for his achievements in EMS while serving with the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System and Sterling Rescue. in addition, he will be considered for the Governor’s Award for Excellence in EMS. Congratulations Sam!
