On 11 June 2019, Vice-President, Jen Ferguson and Assistant Chief for Operations, Robin Davis attended a luncheon at the Falcons Landing Military Retirement Community in Sterling. During the luncheon, the residents of Falcons Landing presented the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad (Sterling Rescue) and the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company with donations totaling $82,000. These funds were raised during a 30-day internal fund drive that is held in the community each year to raise funds in support of the local fire and rescue agencies.
Sterling Rescue is very appreciative of the donations we receive each year from the Falcons Landing community, which in the past have gone to procure an Advance Life Support chase vehicle, a boat for water rescue, and protective gear/equipment that is required to do what we do.
The officers and members of Sterling Rescue thanks the residents of Falcons Landing for their continued and unwavering support over the years and looks forward to our continued relationship.
