The Final Round at the Kitchenaide Senior PGA (SPGA) Championship is in the books and what an exciting final round it was. It was a deep honor that Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad was able to support this event.

This week Sterling Rescue supported the SPGA event with two Medic Units, a UTV, the Sterling Rescue Bike Team, three roving EMS golf carts, and manned the events Incident / Disaster Task Force Support units.

We would also like to also acknowledge our partners in this endeavor and we certainly couldn’t have pulled this off with out them. They include the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company, Loudoun County Fire and Rescue, HCA Reston Hospital Center, and personnel from other volunteer agencies acorss the county that assisted with staffing the event.

Finally, a shout out to all those members of Sterling Rescue that assisted in not only staffing but making this event a success. Great Job to all and another example of dedication and a committment to excellence exhibited each and every day,
