Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad participated in National Night Out on August 5, 2025. According to the National Night Out website, https://natw.org/about/, the event is “an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.” As part of the public safety family, we participate annually in the event on the first Tuesday in August to show our support for our law enforcement partners and our love for the community we serve.

This year we supported the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and participated in events hosted in the following communities: Montabella, Sugarland, Cascade, Mirror Ridge and One Loudoun.
