We recently participated in the annual emergency services training exercise with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) Fire and Rescue Department at Dulles Airport. The simulated aircraft incident involved 127 patients. SVRS had two units onsite.

Our teams there noted it was an excellent training opportunity and a great way to foster collaboration with other regional partners and test regional plans to large-scale events.

This is the kind of interesting experience that our members have access to that is somewhat unique to Sterling Rescue, since we have an international airport in our neighboring jurisdiction.
