Congratulations to Shannon who is now an Attendant in Charge (AIC) with Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad (SVRS) Day Crew, marking an important milestone in her commitment to serving our community.

When she’s not volunteering with SVRS, Shannon works for a private ambulance company, further expanding her hands-on experience in emergency medical services. Her dedication to the field stems from a strong desire to help others and a passion for healthcare. Also, her college degree in Exercise Scienemt next to ambulancece with a minor in Public Health has set a great foundation for her success.

“I want to make a real difference in people’s lives, whether it’s through my volunteer work or my career,” Shannon said. “This is just the beginning of my career in EMS—I’m excited to keep learning and growing.”

With aspirations to advance her medical knowledge and skills, Shannon is eager to continue her journey in healthcare, making an impact both in and outside of her volunteer role. Sterling and the surrounding communities can rest assured they have a dedicated and compassionate EMT ready to respond in times of need.
