This week (19-25 May 2019) the officers and members of the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad will celebrate National EMS Week, recognizing the men and women who serve their communities 24/7/365. This year’s theme is “EMS Strong – Beyond the Call”.

Last year, Sterling Rescue’s dedicated community volunteers and the Loudoun County Fire Rescue (LCFR) career staff handled over 7000 emergency calls, resulting in over 10,000 emergency responses in our community. Our team is “Always in Service” and ready to serve the communities that comprise Eastern Loudoun County and the surrounding areas. These highly trained and committed Fire and EMS professionals are always there to serve regardless of the time, weather conditions, or situation.

We are proud of our over 180 operational and administrative volunteers and career staff. Thanks to all of you for what you do day-in and day-out, making Sterling Rescue and the Loudoun County Combined Fire and Rescue System the vibrant organizations they are. Because of your dedication, you make the communities that comprise our response area a better and safer place to live. EMS Strong – Beyond the Call!
