Wonder what happened to the Grinch after his heart grew and he became kind?- He and his dog Max joined Sterling Rescue!

You may see the Grinch and his dog Max riding through your neighborhood. The Grinch and Max accompany Santa, who rides on a Sterling Volunteer Fire Company fire engine. The Grinch, who is very green, follows Santa in a green and white Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad ambulance. Together they bring joy, music and holiday cheer to Sterling neighborhoods. Since the Grinch discovered that there was more to Christmas than money and presents, he had a little spare time and wanted to help people. He learned about Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad and decided to volunteer!

The operational volunteers serve as first responders, delivering emergency medical support to the community. The administrative volunteers perform a variety of support roles in areas such as recruiting, membership support, and business operations. No experience is required, and training is provided.
