Sterling Rescue and Sterling Fire Bring Santa and Joy to One Loudoun

Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad and Sterling Volunteer Fire Company brought Santa and joy to One Loudoun’s 10th annual Holiday Tree Lighting celebration on December 3, 2022. Santa rode to the celebration in a Sterling Fire engine, while Sterling Rescue followed in an ambulance to ensure Santa arrived safely and healthy.

After Santa’s arrival, we celebrated the holiday season with members of the community, providing information about Sterling Rescue and providing tours of a state-of-the-art advanced life support ambulance. We want to thank all of the Loudoun County residents who stopped by and shared a holiday greeting. We also thank you for their support during the year and wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season.

Want to be a part of a great all-volunteer team, whose motto is “empowered to save, inspired to serve?” Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad has openings for both operational and administrative volunteers. Operational volunteers serve as first responders, delivering emergency medical support to the community. Administrative volunteers perform a variety of support roles, such as recruiting, membership support, and business operations. No experience is required. Training is provided. See the Join section of this web site for more detail. Come join us!
